I guess to really tell my story I need to start back in West Virginia where my Father was born. He and his family relocated to Florida in the 1940’s and with them they brought my heritage in Gospel music. I was born in 1963 in a small town in west central Florida called Brooksville to Paul and Glenda Langworthy. Along with my Mother, Father, Brother and 3 sisters we eventually fulfilled my Fathers dream and formed our family gospel group called the Singing Langworthy’s. We all shared responsibilities as vocalist and musicians my responsibilities were as lead vocalist and guitarist. As I got older I eventually formed my own band which played mainly country and a little southern rock. I had opportunities as a teenager to pursue my dream of becoming a country music professional but opted to put that on hold so I could pursue another dream of becoming a husband and a Father. It wasn’t until I was in my early thirties and upon the passing of my 2 year old niece that I decided to not let my dream go unparsed so I loaded up and headed to Nashville to record a 10 original song album. The album turned out great and with the continued support of my family I have still been trying to capture my elusive dream. A lot of things in my life have changed in my recent past; I have had to watch my Father Battle cancer see my marriage of over 20 years end and still try to find the courage to believe dreams can still come true with a lot of hard work and determination. I still continue to perform at events locally and in the past had performed at a lot of major venues like the GTE Classic Golf Tournament, National Anthem at Orlando Magic Basketball games etc. I have entered several amateur singing contest in the past and won all of them to date but still haven’t made it to the next level of this industry but I refuse to give up! I have a new outlook on life and new people who love and support me and with that in hand I am hoping I can finally succeed. So with that said I hope all who read this and hear my music find it in there heart to help me make a dream come true!
